MISTY HILLS

Welcome to Misty Hills.

Only 2.5 hours away from Johannesburg. This little town Dullstroom is the highest village in South Africa, situated at 2100m above sea level in the Steenkampsberg range, the town dates back to the early 1880’s, when Dutch settlers came to the area.

The town derives its name from one Wolterus Dull, chairman of the Dutch immigrants in the area at the time. The “stroom” (stream) refers to the abundance of water in the area: The Crocodile River, which runs through the Kruger National Park, has its origin in Dullstroom.

This breath taking 2000 hector farm is home to some of the most beautiful dams, rivers and antenlope the highlands meander has to offer. This family farm has been running for 25 years.

Misty Hills is perfect for a weekend getaway and should be put on the top of the list as a destination getaway.​

Come and experience everything Misty Hills has to offer from fly fishing, game drives, relaxing, reading a book to soaking up the sun.
